The Bloom Sconce is Martin’s abstract interpretation of the wild Sea Malus shrub, a beautiful flowering plant found along our local Sussex shoreline.

With a tantalising hint of the surreal, Martin’s abstract sculpture captures the energy of his making process and of the natural world, with handmade flowers grouped along the textured branches. A whorl of ruffled petal-like forms create visual intrigue, with the flower centres highlighted by a small bulb creating pinpoints of light.
